FAQs
1. How do I light the incense stick?
Use a lighter or match to ignite the tip of the incense stick. Let it burn for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The tip should glow red and release a gentle stream of fragrant smoke.
2. How long does one stick burn?
A standard incense stick (about 10–11cm) typically burns for 15-20 minutes, depending on the airflow and incense density.
3. Do I need an incense holder or burner?
Yes, we recommend using an incense holder or burner to keep the stick stable and collect the ash. Natural materials, such as ceramic, wood, or brass, are ideal for both safety and aesthetics.
4. Are there any safety tips for using incense?
- Keep burning incense away from flammable materials.
- Ensure proper ventilation, but avoid strong drafts that may scatter the smoke.
- Do not leave burning incense unattended.
- Avoid prolonged use in enclosed spaces or around young children and pets.
- If you’re sensitive to fragrance, use with caution.
- If you are pregnant, please use incense with caution. Some natural ingredients used in traditional Chinese incense—such as those believed to “promote blood circulation” in traditional medicine—may not be suitable during pregnancy. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use.
5. Can I use incense every day?
Yes. Our incense is handcrafted with natural ingredients and contains no synthetic additives. It’s safe for daily use to support meditation, relaxation, or to elevate your space. However, we recommend moderate use to avoid sensory fatigue.
6. Does incense help with sleep?
Some of our blends, such as Quite Night Incense, are made with calming ingredients like agarwood, sandalwood, and benzoin. They help create a peaceful atmosphere for rest, though they are not a medical treatment.
7. What if my incense stick breaks?
No problem. You can still use broken incense pieces in a holder. Crushed incense powder can also be burned on charcoal in a traditional incense burner—an ancient way of enjoying fragrance.
8. How should I store incense?
Keep your incense in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve its natural aroma and quality.
9. Why won’t my incense stay lit or burn evenly?
This may be due to high humidity or improper storage. Make sure the incense is dry before lighting. If needed, let it air out in a dry place before use.
10. Is your incense eco-friendly?
Yes. Our incense is made from natural plant materials with no artificial fragrances or chemical binders. All packaging is recyclable, reflecting our commitment to a more sustainable lifestyle.
11. Is your incense safe for pets?
Our incense is made with 100% natural ingredients and contains no synthetic chemicals, making it generally safe for pets. However, just like with essential oils or scented candles, some natural aromas may be unpleasant or irritating to certain animals. We recommend using incense in a well-ventilated space and observing your pet’s reaction. If your pet shows signs of discomfort, it's best to discontinue use or move the incense to a separate area.
